The shoreline appears in the life of the old, young and even the small,
as it represents an ability to reflect on the days and lives of us all.
Another day has come and almost gone with many reflections to see,
as our thoughts can unwind and come to us flowing and so free.
I often wonder what others may see when they take time to reflect,
do they pick and choose the good from bad and strongly dissect?
Or could it be that they take the toll of their actions all in stride,
as they might take upon each days adventures with great pride.
Some I am sure look back upon a day with great alarming regret,
knowing they have cheated,toiled and have a very selfish mind set.
The deeper they look inside....is the more they choose to overlook,
Not realizing their decisions are made over blessings they forsook.
What is important then to serve what is best or serve your own way.
is the question that faces all of us in the reaches of each ones day.
They say tou can not serve two masters and be yourself true.
and the treasure in peoples hearts is reflected in all that we do.
There is a serene walk that we can each enter at the end of a day,
where reflecions can peacefully abide when integrity doesnt stray.
A peace that passes all understanding is there for all to be had,
as only finding this will truely wipe away all tears from all those sad.
The end of the day is meant for thoe to have their daily rewards,
as we can let go of the days distractions and cut all the cords.
So now enjoy all of the seashore lines beauty and its sounds,
because it is created for you to know that God is all around.
I can see the clounds forming and dancing in the sky for me,
all one has to do is open their eyes in order to freely see.
The trees are waving their hands in unison with the winds song,
and taking all of it i I know I could do this all the night long.
So God help me to close my eyes and see your deep grace,
as I know wherever I walk that you have surely made this place.
The peace that can come from this walk is free for us all.
and so I close my eyes just to hear your nature make its call.
My shoulders need lightened and I look to you to carry me,
and I reach out now because I know you have set me free.
Its not a matter of anything in this life that I may have to face,
because serenity and meaning and life is found in your grace.
Friends leaving me when I may need them and cry in despair,
doesnt matter because in my heart I know you will be there.
Family may turn against me but I know you will give me rest,
as I realize from your love that you are powerful and the best.
Serene Walks can be experienced by all that willingly receive,
and the funny part is its not hard as all you have to do is believe.
I hope we can all close our eyes at the end of our tiresome day,
and realize that its all out there for us ....and its found in your way.
